In December 1990, the Council was granted the status of a company limited by guarantee and became therefore, fully constituted within Cyprus Company Law. The affairs of the Council are run by an Executive Committee whose  members are elected for a two-year term. The members of the Executive Committee for the period 2007 - 2009 are:
